Look! Another green-and-orange color combo—what a stunner! Hey, if it works, stick with it. But there’s also another famous comic book color combo in use here: violet and pink. That’s always a winner, and it’s used here for a soft background environment. Since it’s muted, it doesn’t overpower the character in the foreground, and this should always be a consideration when choosing background colors.

LEOPARD

Her torso is long and slinky and drawn along an arc (the arc of her spine). As you can see, the tail is an extension of the spine and curls upward attractively. The neck is also an extension of the spine. The spine is one long line that dictates the thrust of the entire pose.

The leopard’s head is slightly small for its body. That’s one of the things that makes a leopard different from a lion—that and the spots. And for a humanizing effect, this furry has human hair. It’s a bold move, so you have to be sure the hairstyle makes a statement when you do it.
